Session 01
One hour, together
A parent stays for the whole session and meets their child’s key person to go through the ‘All About Me’ form, capturing their routine at home, their likes and dislikes.
Admissions
Choosing a nursery is one of the most important decisions you will make for your child.
What families are looking for
At Little Doves, we understand that families want more than excellent care. They want a place where their child feels happy, secure and inspired — a place where they can grow in confidence and develop a love of learning.
We welcome children from 6 months to rising 5 years and offer an all year round nursery provision, open for 51 weeks of the year.
A gentle beginning
From your first visit, our team will take the time to get to know your family, understand your child’s individual needs and ensure they feel comfortable and confident as they begin nursery life.
We believe strong relationships are the foundation of everything we do — with children, families and our wider community.
There will be five gentle settling-in sessions:
Session 01
A parent stays for the whole session and meets their child’s key person to go through the ‘All About Me’ form, capturing their routine at home, their likes and dislikes.
Session 02
The first session where your child stays with us, with familiar activities and their key person close by.
Session 03
A little longer, building confidence at their own pace as the room becomes familiar.
Session 04
Long enough to take in more of the day and settle into the rhythm of the room.
Session 05
The final session before starting properly, by which point the routine and the faces are well known.
